a high-quality "medium" stainless steel Turkish coffee pot (known as a Cezve or Ibrik) is characterized by its ability to brew multiple servings while maintaining traditional foam quality.

Standard "Large" Description
  • Capacity: approx. 300 ml to 550 ml and can brew 2 to 4 traditional 2 oz cups  at once.
  • Material: Premium pots are crafted from 18/10 (304) food-grade stainless steel. This material is preferred  because it is rust-resistant, dishwasher safe, and does not alter the coffee's flavor.
  • The Shape: A wide base that tapers to a narrow neck. This design is functional; it concentrates the rising foam (the "kaymak") and minimizes air contact to preserve aromatic oils.
  • The Handle: For a "medium" pot, the handle is extended and ergonomic to provide leverage when pouring.  
  • The Spout: Features a precisely tapered or "anti-drip" spout. Many modern 2026 models include dual spouts for easy pouring by both left- and right-handed users.
  • Base: High-end versions use a 3-ply or encapsulated base (a layer of aluminum between steel) for even heat distribution, preventing "hot spots" that can scorch the coffee grounds.
